Is change coming for Zimbabwe's farmers?

World Business Report

Available for over a year

Farmers whose land was controversially seized by the administration of former President Robert Mugabe are now being encouraged to return to agriculture, by the current leader, Emmerson Mnangagwa. Robert and Darryn Smart have gone back to work on the farm, which was seized from them, but others are dubious about the conditions being offered by the government in Harare. A revival of the agriculture industry is vital to the economic fortunes of Zimbabwe, as the 麻豆社's Vivienne Nunis has been finding out from the country's farming community.
