Like many girls in Afghanistan, Farah had never been to school, in fact there were lots of things that Farah wanted to do but couldn’t in her home country. So once her family had found a safe place to live in England, it was time for Farah to go to school for the first time. It wasn’t easy for her and she relied on the support of her family to help her settle in at school. Then one rainy day during lunch time something wonderful happened, she was invited to play a game of cricket - it was a dream come true!
