Available for over a year

As the NHS turns 70, the focus will be firmly on the achievements of the medical staff who make it function and also the politicians and others who first came up with the idea of universal free health care. But now, another aspect of the health service is getting recognition: the contribution made by film and television. The British Film Institute has put on-line an extensive collection of Health Service-related films from the past 70 years, as Paul Moss from Radio 4's World Tonight programme finds out.
