Obesity: How is Scotland tackling maternal obesity?

World at One

Available for over a year

Continuing our series of looking at how different places in the country are tackling obesity, we head to Scotland, where the government is looking at what can be done even before a child is born. It plans to use research from an antenatal clinic run by the University of Edinburgh, and the charity Tommy's, which works with pregnant women who have a body mass of more than 40. Hannah Capella reports from the City's Royal Infirmary. (Photo: Nurse and pregnant woman Credit: PA)
