One of the most iconic artists of the twentieth century, with one of soul music鈥檚 most acclaimed and distinctive voices, Aretha Franklin inspired millions of fans around the world, and will leave a lasting impact. Known for hits such as Respect, A Natural Woman and I Say a Little Prayer, her influence transcended music, and came to symbolise the struggle for civil and women鈥檚 rights in the United States.
