It's an autumnal dawn at the UNESCO World Heritage site of Lake Ichkeul in Tunisia. The freshwater lake is the last remaining in a chain that once extended across North Africa, and along with its surrounding wetland, it's a major stopover for hundreds of thousands of migrating birds. Hugh Miles made this Â鶹Éç recording at the Sedjnana Delta, with its resident wildfowl of widgeon, mallard, Cetti's warbler and greylag goose.
