The US doctors standing up to gun violence

Weekend

Available for over a year

Doctors across the United States who are concerned about what they say is an epidemic of gun violence, have asked a lobby group to help find a solution - the National Rifle Association of America. The NRA had already said "Someone should tell self-important anti-gun doctors to stay in their lane." So why are doctors taking action - and why do they think the NRA can help? We hear from Megan Ranney - chief research officer for the American Foundation for Firearm Injury Reduction in Medicine. (Photo: A doctor pictured in a US hospital. Credit: Getty Images)
