The beginning of the year is usually a busy time for gyms as people sign up to get fit after the holidays. Lots of them are doing special deals for new members. You & Yours has been hearing from existing members from David Lloyd unhappy that their membership fees have gone up without warning. People have contacted the programme reporting price rises of between 6% and 10% announced without the three months’ notice that’s promised within the terms and conditions.
