Regina is originally from Malawi and Elizabeth is Nigerian. They first met in church, later discovering they live a few doors apart. Both have children who’ve been diagnosed with Down’s Syndrome and both spent long periods in hospital with their children. Through it all, Regina and Elizabeth bonded through their love of food. They share recipes and help each other to cook dishes influenced by their cultures. Food is important to them, both making it and sharing it. They encourage each other to try new dishes.
