Of the more than 84 million Nigerians registered to vote on Saturday's presidential elections, half of them represent young voters aged between 18 and 35. Many of these groups of voters have been at the forefront of mobilising the youth to ensure they exercise their democratic right. One person who is on a mission to fight apathy among the youth votes is Laila Johnson Salami, she is a TV presenter and a podcast host. She tells us how she is encouraging interest in politics among the young and what role can ‘returnees’ - those who’ve come back to Nigeria from the diaspora - can play in the country's future.
