The government has come under fire from MPs over its agreement to pay Eurotunnel £33 million to settle a lawsuit, over extra ferry services in the event of a no-deal Brexit. Eurotunnel had complained to the Transport Secretary, Chris Grayling, that the contracts had been handed out in a "secretive" way, and that it hadn't been given a chance to tender for them.
