Veteran playwright and screenwriter Sir David Hare has never shied away from tackling hard subjects, whether its politics or social issues, most recently his Â鶹Éç drama Collateral investigated the intersection of politics, illegal immigration and the gig economy. His latest work is The White Crow, a biopic of the Russian ballet dancer Rudolph Nureyev that captures his early life up to the point where he defects to the West.
