Digital and app-based booking taxi services are seen as way as revolutionising urban living across the world. But in Kenya, Uber drivers say the cheap rides and convenience for passengers have come at a major cost to them. Drivers of the US-based company, say Uber brought in various price changes without consulting them. This has led to lower fares and reduced earnings, and a significantly reduced quality of service.
