Edinburgh Fringe: Tourette's joke 'apalling' for people with the syndrome

Steve Harris

Available for over a year

George Sutton, from Poundbury, says Olaf Falafel's award-winning joke at the Edinburgh Fringe festival "makes a mockery" of people with Tourette's. A charity for people with Tourette's syndrome has asked for the comedian to apologise. Tourettes Action says it is "so disappointed" by the Swedish comedian, who won Dave's "Funniest Joke of The Fringe" prize. It said the fact the public voted for the joke showed "how we as a nation deal with people who are different". George Sutton, from Poundbury, spoke to Â鶹Éç Radio Solent's Steve Harris.
