Due to the popularity of his first set of Slavonic Dances, Dvo艡谩k鈥檚 publisher asked him to compose more. Initially he didn鈥檛 want to do it and wrote to the publisher saying 鈥淚 am not at all in the mood鈥︹ but in the end he agreed. This second set of Slavonic Dances gives an introspective and colourful flavour of the Bohemian tradition.
