The Boston Museum of Fine Arts has launched a new exhibition, Ancient Nubian Now, showcasing hundreds of artefacts that have not been seen for a long time, most of these artefacts were collected during expeditions carried out in the first three decades of the 20th century when missions from Harvard university were carrying archaeological digs in the then Anglo-Egyptian Sudan. Today, this exhibition is very important in shedding light on one of the ancient world's least known civilization. We hear from Rita Freed (the MFA’s John F. Cogan Jr. and Mary L.
