The music, inspired by Klaus Groth’s poem ‘Regenlied’, has the feeling of reconciliation over past regrets. The free-flowing atmospheric melody and turbulent piano accompaniment produces a sense of uneasiness which is constantly present. Composer: Johannes Brahms Performer: Veronika Eberle (Violin) Performer: Francesco Piemontesi (Piano) Recording date: 09 April 2011 Date of broadcast: 25 July 2011
