Will the UK election provide an answer to Brexit?

World Update

Available for over a year

Britain is on course for a December election after the main opposition Labour party said it would support Prime Minister Boris Johnson's plan, with the date expected to be approved on Wednesday. The repeated failure of successive Conservative governments to find a Brexit deal acceptable to the House of Commons has reached perhaps the obvious conclusion - a general election. Opinion polls are already making their predictions of what's to come. Tom McTague, political correspondent at The Atlantic magazine, and Miranda Green, journalist from the Financial Times, discuss the looming election, and whether it will provide an answer on Brexit.
