Available for over a year

Emma Dabiri’s book ‘Don’t Touch My Hair’ has been particularly impactful in one school in London – Townley Grammar School. Three students from the school spoke about how their head teacher has now abandoned restrictive hair policies for students after reading Emma’s book. They told Jane Garvey how they felt after the policies were relaxed and why it was such an important issue for them. Emma explained how her book is having a real world impact and why these policies particularly affect black students.
