Danny Wonders: 'I felt a compelling feeling in my heart to go to Ghana'

Focus on Africa

Available for over a year

Danny Wonders is a director and photographer, who took a trip to his homeland Ghana for the first time in 24 years. It completely changed his perspective on what was shown, when prior to visiting he had fears of facing sickness, crime and the typical stories he described as what the western world throw on us. After revisiting Ghana last year, his passion for film and photography enabled him to show people Ghana in a way they have never seen before. He tells Hannah Ajala why it took over two decades for him to return to Ghana. (Photo: Danny Wonders. Credit: Wondervision Films)
