Brazil’s game-changer for women’s cricket

Stumped

Available for over a year

Cricket Brazil has taken the decision to award central contracts to 14 female players, who will play and train five times a week. The move is solely for the women's game, and Brazil is not offering equivalent professional deals to its male players at this stage. The president of Cricket Brazil, Matt Featherstone, speaks with Stumped's Alison Mitchell on the importance of women's cricket and what he would like to see the team achieve in the future.
