Roger Federer interview: Meeting Siya Kolisi and making history in Africa
Not by the PlaybookAvailable for over a year
Roger Federer and Africa made history this month when they broke the world record for attendance at a tennis match. Just under 52,000 people watched Federer take on Rafael Nadal in the Match for Africa in Cape Town - the first time the event has been held on African soil. Three and a half million dollars was raised for the Roger Federer Foundation, which will help support education for children in rural South Africa. Sportshour's Simon Parker caught up with Federer after the event. They discussed Bill Gates' love for tennis gossip, meeting Rugby World Cup-winning captain Siya Kolisi and what it was like to be back in South Africa, a country that is very close to his heart.
