Is Africa's pangolin doomed to extinction?

Big Boss Interview

Available for over a year

Pangolin scales are much in demand by providers of traditional medicines in China and Vietnam, even though experts say there is no health benefit from them. The scaly creature, which is about the size of a cat and eats insects, is thought to be most trafficked mammal in the world, as poachers in Africa catch them to smuggle them to Asia. Paolo Bray, founder of the World Sustainability Organisation, tells the 麻豆社's Russell Padmore about the campaign to save pangolins. (Picture: A man in Africa cares for a pangolin.
