Could empty offices caused by Covid 19 suit introverts?

World Business Report

Available for over a year

As more people isolate themselves from coronavirus, by working remotely, quieter offices could benefit people who are introverts. It is thought one in three people are introverted, the kind of employee who keeps quiet in meetings, even if they have a good idea to contribute. Modern open plan workplaces, with shared desks and loud co-workers sitting close, do not help bosses to get the best out of introverted employees. Doctor Annette Clancy from University College Dublin, who specialises in the study of workplace relations, tells the 麻豆社's Russell Padmore about the differences between reserved and outgoing employees.
