Aida Sock first appeared in the music spotlight when appearing on The Voice Afrique Francophone’s first edition, and continues to song write in a range of different languages. She’s described her music style as so versatile that it can’t just fit into one genre, having living in Miami where she learned Spanish and singing in the language in some in her songs, to singing Wolof which is commonly spoken in Senegal where she now lives. She calls her music Soulful Afro Hip Hop, and speaks with journalist Hannah Ajala in Dakar, sharing more about her musical journey, and why she wouldn't put herself into just one box.
