Focus on Africa

Available for over a year

Researchers around the world are working to develop a vaccine that could protect people from Covid-19, but there are worries over its accessibility once it will be developed. More than 140 world leaders, experts and elders brought together by the United Nations Agency for HIV/AIDS are calling for any vaccine that is developed to be fairly distributed across the world. For more, Bola Mosuro spoke to Winnie Byanyima, the UNAIDS executive director. (Photo: Winnie Byanyima. Credit:Tineke D'haese/Oxfam/PA)
