Here's our fourth reading from this year's Caine Prize for African Writing shortlist. Today’s reading is an excerpt from "Neighbourhood Watch" by Rwandan-born Namibian writer and photographer Rémy Ngamije. The story weaves a picture of survival and concerns the daily lives of a homeless street gang in the Namibian capital Windhoek. The extract is read by Stanley Kwenda. *This year, Audrey Brown who is one of Focus’ presenters was a judge of the competition, she did it in a private capacity.
