The creation of Focus on Africa Radio
Available for over a year
Let’s find out more about how and why Focus came about. At first, Focus on Africa was an experiment. Would people like it, was there a need for such a programme? It was initially broadcast weekly and had no reporters in Africa, and instead relied on its London staff. Paul Bakibinga, one of the many Focus voices over the years, takes up the story.
