Namibia killings: 'There must be an open apology then we can talk about reparations'

The Namibian government has rejected a 12 million dollar compensation offer by the German government for the mass killings of Herero and Nama people between 1904 and 1908. They were killed for resisting German colonialism. Idda Hoffman, the Chairperson of the Nama Genocide Committee is opposed to the reparation talks in their current form.
