Our series on Rivers looks at how they function, what's happening inside them, the conservation efforts to protect them and the species that rely on them, and the different ways they interact with us and affect our lives. David Mooney contacted us about the huge importance of the River Dee to him and his family. Sixty eight miles long, flowing between England and Wales, the Dee has touched generations of the Mooney family. (Photo: The river Dee feeds in to the Llangollen canal Credit: Getty Images)
