The father and daughter listening to Focus

Available for over a year

We continue to mark Focus on Africa Radio's 60th birthday. To celebrate this milestone, we are looking back on events that have marked each decade since the beginning of the programme and explore what Focus means today. In this interview Bola Mosuro talks to a father who encouraged his daughter to listen to Focus. Fay Kayombo Yonga used to be in the diplomatic service, serving in places like the former Yugoslavia, and that’s when he started listening to Focus on Africa radio before introducing Samba to the programme.
