Almost three million pounds of funding has been granted to individual artists as part of a support scheme operated by the Communities Minister Carál Ní Chuilín. It will enable almost 1,100 artists, actors, musicians and other arts workers to get grants of up to £5,000. Our reporter Brendan Marshall has been been speaking to two local artists on how they will beneifit from the funding announced. His report begins with local singer Roe.
