Developing countries could find themselves at a significant disadvantage when it comes to distributing and administering a Covid vaccine, especially one that has to be stored and transported at extremely low temperatures.聽 Dr Harjit Singh Bhatti, who works on the Covid-19 ward of Delhi's Manipal Hospital, describes if India can meet this challenge, and why it may make sense for certain countries to wait for a vaccine that does not require such cold storage. He also speaks out against 'vaccine nationalism', saying that "no country is safe till every country is safe", and that there has to be a sense of global solidarity to allow trade and travel to resume.
