Leave it to the players - Hannah Darlington on coded messages

Stumped

Available for over a year

England men's team analyst Nathan Leamon has caused a stir in the cricket world after he hung a series of letters and numbers from the dressing-room balcony to send captain Eoin Morgan coded messages during the final T20 international against South Africa in Cape Town. The match referee and the International Cricket Council鈥檚 anti-corruption unit gave England permission to use the tactic and they are set to continue with the experiment during the one-day series against the Proteas. Sydney Thunder bowler Hannah Darlington, who helped the team win this year's Women's Big Bash League, says this strategy is unfair and that the tactics should be left to the players on the field.
