29-year-old Nzambi Matee from Kenya has been named as one of seven winners of the United Nations Environment Programme鈥檚 2020 Young Champions of the Earth prize. The award recognises entrepreneurs who are under the age of 30 and have ideas for sustainable environmental change. Nzambi鈥檚 idea was to convert plastic waste into building materials, creating low cost alternatives for use in construction. The 麻豆社's鈥 Nora Fakim spoke to her to find out more about her invention.
