Gerry Marsden has died at the age of 78 after a short illness. Gerry is synonymous with sport after his version of You'll Never Walk Alone became a football anthem for his hometown club of Liverpool and, subsequently, around the world at clubs including Borussia Dortmund and Japan’s FC Tokyo.
