Focus on Africa

Available for over a year

Scientists believe they may have found the smallest reptile on earth - a chameleon subspecies that is the size of a seed. It's as small as a fingernail - 13.5 millimetres long. It's called Brookesia nana... or B.Nana for short...Two of the tiny lizards were found by a German-Madagascan expedition team in Madagascar. The Â鶹Éç’s Victoria Uwonkunda has been speaking to one of those who found them - Dr Mark Scherz.
