Originally hailing from Berlin, Friedberg is an all-female indie-rock four piece based in Hackney. Having enjoyed spot plays on Netflix, Fox Sports and FIFA 2020, the band are making waves in the London scene and beyond with their vibrant sound that blends electronic beats and pop melodies with bright indie-rock. Led by frontwoman Anna F, the band formed after her move to London when an independent label showed interest in her songs. She was soon introduced to her bandmates and they ended up playing their first gig just two weeks after meeting. This organic process is reflected in their sound, the effortless fusion of genres and captivating energy captured on each song. To date, Friedberg have released three tracks, including their first single ‘BOOM’ which was written in the desert and landed the band on our radar.
