Weekend

Available for over a year

Bosnia-Herzegovina's entry for the Oscars is entitled Quo Vadis, Aida? and tells the story of Europe's worst atrocity since World War II - the Srebrenica massacre in 1995 during the Bosnian war in which more than 8,000 unarmed Bosnian men were killed by Bosnian Serbs forces led by Ratko Mladic. Jasmila Zbanic talks to Julian Worricker about directing the film Quo Vadis, Aida? (Photo: Jasna 膼uri膷i膰, who plays a translator working at a UN base near Srebrenica in the film Quo Vadis, Aida)
