Michael Freedland devotes the programme to an extended interview with the Israeli novelist and peace activist Amos Oz, to mark the publication of the author’s new novel, A Perfect Peace. One of the novel’s central themes is the relationship between fathers and sons - and so the interviewer is Michael’s 18 year old son, Jonathan. This is a programme from the Â鶹Éç archive, originally broadcast on Â鶹Éç Radio in the 1980s. Aspects of the programme reflect the time when it was made and due to rights considerations, the music may be shorter than in the original programme.
