Public Health officials say an Indian strain of the coronavirus found in the UK could become a 鈥渧ariant of concern鈥. It鈥檚 thought about 500 cases have been found so far and it seems to have been spreading more quickly than the other strains 鈥 although there鈥檚 no evidence it鈥檚 resistant to vaccines. 麻豆社 Radio Leicester's Jimmy Carpenter spoke to Professor Ivan Browne, the Director of Public Health in Leicester, to find out what the latest situation is in the city.
