Eight months after the war began in the northern Ethiopian region of Tigray - it has yet to be discussed, in open session, at the UN Security Council. Millions of Tigrayans remain hungry, displaced, and, in many cases, brutalised. The conservative estimate is that 300,000 risk starving to death very soon. Linda Thomas-Greenfield, the US Ambassador to the UN, spoke to the 麻豆社's Newshour programme and how she wants it to be discussed by the international community urgently.
