Living with cancer during Covid-19 pandemic.

Steve Harris

Available for over a year

Cancer research UK says 3 million fewer people, across the country, were screened for cancer during COVID compared to a normal year. In June last year, Terry Ashton from Weymouth was told he had advanced prostate cancer. The diagnosis was given three months after the UK entered its first lockdown - and the restrictions put in place affected Terry's treatment. But even though his condition meant it was too late for surgery - he refuses to apportion any level of blame. Â鶹Éç Radio Solent reporter Laurence Herdman went to meet him.
