A new institute for investigative journalism in Africa

Focus on Africa

Available for over a year

Ugandan journalist Solomon Serwanjja and fellow investigative reporter Raymond Mujuni have co-founded the African Institute for Investigative Journalism (AIIJ). The aim of the Uganda-based unit is to deepen investigative journalism not only in Uganda but also on the continent. Solomon Serwanjja told Focus on Africa's Audrey Brown, that despite the dangers that lies with this type of work, investigative journalism is what he was born for. Photo: A man typing on a laptop.
