Mum's back at home after almost a fortnight in hospital. Her bed has been moved downstairs. Before she was discharged son Andrew had a meeting with the geriatric consultant looking after her. She now has a detailed end-of-life plan, which the two of them discussed. In this emotional edition of the diary Andrew talks about how describing Mum's 'dementia journey' each week is forcing him to confront uncomfortable truths about her condition and what her future holds.
