Roukiatou  Maiga and Diambendi  Madiega are the joint winners of the annual UNHCR Nansen Refugee Award for Africa. The two community leaders in Burkina Faso have been awarded for their work in helping displaced people amid worsening violence in the country. The award honours individuals, groups and organisations who work to protect refugees, displaced and stateless people.
