The remains at St John's Church are thought to date back beyond the early 12th century. In the 1120s William of Malmesbury wrote of a stone church on the site larger than the Saxon church at Bradford-on-Avon. Colin Alesbury, the vicar at St John the Baptist Church, tells Jack Killah more about the discovery.
