A Teachers Union in Zimbabwe is taking the government to court over its decision to suspend around 135,000 striking teachers. They were suspended for failing to turn up for work when schools opened this week. The teachers are pushing for better pay and working conditions, but the government says it will now replace them. The President of the Amalgamated Rural Teachers Union of Zimbabwe, Obert Masaraure, has been telling the Â鶹Éç's Paul Bakibinga that the move is a nullity and will be challenged in court.
