A retired Kenyan teacher has his eyes firmly set on climbing the world's highest mountain. James Kagambi is set to embark on a trip that will take him to Mount Everest in two weeks time. He will be a member of the first all-Black Mountaineering team to take on this big challenge. Mr Kagambi is not a novice though, his interest in mountain climbing began back in 1987. The first known person to get to the top of Mount Everest did it in 1953. Since then, over 10,000 others have reached the top of the mountain. So how prepared is James Kagambi? He spoke to Focus on Africa's Hassan Arouni. (Image: James Kagambi (KG) on Mount Kenya. Credit: Betika)
