Coventry's year as hosts of the UK City of Culture will end with four bumper weekends of events in May. Among the highlights is the opening of the Reel Store, the UK’s first permanent immersive digital art gallery opens. The weekend of May 13th sees the world premiere of The Awakening by Gratte Ciel, followed by a carnival-style parade called This is the City on the Saturday and a spectacular drone show takes to the skies, and is streamed across the world, shining a spotlight on wildlife with Our Wilder Family on the Sunday. There are also activities showcasing and celebrating our green spaces and the city's waterways and wildlife and a behind the scenes look inside some of the city's cultural centres like Drapers Hall, the Belgrade Theatre, and Music Venues.
